Goodbye San Francisco, I didn’t know people like you existed. Thanks for the revelation.

In SFO terminal three, waving bye to my peeps

So now at the end of my ‘ventures

I’ll return to the good ol’ UK

And I know in my heart, that it’s only the start

‘Cos I’m sure I’ll be back here one day

But I’m sad to be leaving America

Saying ‘bye to my friends as I sing

So I just want to say, a big thankyou for the way

Y’all took me under your wing.

Yes I wanted to come to America

Now I see that she’s just what she seems

So I came here to know, now I have to go

But I’ve lived my American Dream.

Aw I only just saw your Dolly P article in the Guardian and will check out this blog for sure! This is a big dream of mine too, crossing the US and doing a few things I always wanted to do. I was only over there over Sept 11 in 2005, and for a short while only, so will live through your travels and see if there are any new dreams I can steal :O) best, Sylvia x

Ok, that just cracked me up when Dolly seemingly looked scared at you. But, what do you expect when you see yourself down there too 😉
