If we had a 5 minute chat at a bus stop, met on a float at Pride or spent a weekend living off the land, I’d like to remember it all.

My best friend (Rebekah Sipos) and I (Vanessa Blaylock) were at the comedy club where Sandy Stec was doing a show in early June. My friend and I met and were talking to Sandy when you came up and started talking to us. You told us that one of your list items was to do a stand up comedy show. I told you I was going to Nashville on the 4th of July. I saw Dolly Parton in late July in Nashville and told you I would tell Dolly about you if I met her.
Cafe outside the LSE library. You had just come from that Harold Pinter lecture and were (holding a yoga mat? Is that true?) telling us all about it (compelling me to sagely pretend I read all his stuff). Also, years later, inexplicably, the P Street Whole Foods in Washington. None of these were the first time we met, however. That was October 2002 in Bloomsbury, when you were pestering Ilaria about something or other outside ULU while I tried to unsubtly encourage you to go away and leave us alone so that I could mack on her in peace. Good job on the piece and in cula alla balena on your madcap antics!
